Mono Lake, a salt lake 3 times saltier than the ocean is located 25 miles from Bridgeport, and has many fascinating geological features. The ghost town of Bodie, a non-commercialized state park, is 20 miles away. Numerous lakes and streams in the Bridgeport area offer excellent trout fishing, including Twin Lakes where the state records for rainbow trout have been caught. Bridgeport is the county seat of Mono County, and its 1880 courthouse is the second oldest still in operation in California. In addition to our standard amenities, our guest rooms are equipped with wireless and some cabled internet access, microwaves, refrigerators and coffee/tea makers with grinders and complimentary coffee beans.
